Preparing your shoebox

1. Get a shoebox. (From the FBC Herrin welcome center)
2. Choose a Boy or Girl, ages 2-4, 5-9, or 10-14, and take a label.
3. Fill with gifts. (See above for ideas.)
4. Include a $7 donation per box or donate online to follow your box. Click here to donate online.
5. Pray for your box.
6. Bring the Box to FBC Herrin by Sunday, November 14

What is operation christmas child

Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse that collects gift-filled shoeboxes and distributes them to children living in desperate situations. Each shoebox represents an opportunity to share the Gospel, while showing a child that someone they don’t even know loves them. It’s not just a Christmas gift, it’s a Gospel opportunity; a way to respond to our Savior’s command to reach the world with the Good News.
