Pastor Mark Goldman

Pastor Mark became senior pastor in February 2017. Mark grew up in Southern Illinois, graduated Pinckneyville High School, and attended Rend Lake College. He holds a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Boyce College. 
Mark is married to his beautiful wife, Valerie. They have four children; Isaac, Titus, Charis, and Aleia. On the days when he and Valerie get to be away, they enjoy hiking some of the trails in Southern Illinois. 

Pastor Courtney Hill

Pastor Courtney has been serving on staff at FBC Herrin in various capacities since December of 1999. He grew up in west Tennesseee and came to Herrin via Fort Worth, TX. He graduated with a B.A. in Music from Union University and an M.A. in Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Courtney is involved in the music ministry of the church, working with the Sanctuary Choir and the Caroleer Choir. He's also working with youth ministry, teaching on Wednesday nights and planning outings and events. He works with the Senior Adults (or Young at Heart) group as well.
Courtney and his wife Tina have 5 children and 1 grandchild who keep them very busy when away from the office.
